Where transport-only support fits in repatriation logistics
Repatriation, whether inter-provincial or international, involves several parties: the instructing funeral home or coordinator, the authorities issuing documentation, and the transport leg that physically moves the remains between points. This page explains where our role starts and stops.
What the transport leg actually covers
Once an authorised coordinator has confirmed the instruction — collection point, destination, timing and documentation status — our part is straightforward: collect in the refrigerated vehicle, transport directly to the agreed point, and complete a signed handover. For inter-provincial routes that connect to onward repatriation arrangements, we coordinate timing with the receiving party so the handover lines up.
We don't issue or process the permits, consular paperwork or cross-border documentation that repatriation typically requires. That stays with the funeral home, coordinator or authority managing the case; our role is limited to the physical movement once their instruction is confirmed.

Can you collect from or deliver to an airport or port of entry?
Yes, subject to the coordinator's confirmed instruction, timing and any facility access requirements at that point.
