A clear transport role

Our service supports the practical conveyance requirements around a transfer. The instructing funeral parlour, mortuary, hospital, insurer or repatriation coordinator remains responsible for the lawful release, permits, receiving-party arrangements and any preparation or funeral service.

Our vehicle is configured for controlled refrigerated transport and the compartment is set and monitored for the requirements of each transfer. The route is handled as one accountable movement between authorised points.

What R363 says about the transport role

R363 Regulation 13 requires human remains to be conveyed in a manner that does not endanger public health. For cross-border movements it addresses approved coffins or containers, and Regulation 12 sets additional containment and written medical-declaration requirements for certain infectious conditions. The regulation's 5 °C within three hours wording applies to refrigerators at funeral-undertaker or mortuary premises under regulation 10(6)(b); it is not a prescribed vehicle set-point.

Our transport controls are designed around the applicable route instructions: a cleanable enclosed load area, controlled refrigeration, written collection instruction, appropriate sealed-container or infectious-case documentation supplied by the responsible provider, direct conveyance and signed handover records. We do not issue permits or certify another party's legal compliance.
